ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Laura Willis, a digital wellness consultant on a mission to help organisations and their people to ensure they are using technology in a sustainable, healthy way.
In 2016, I founded Shine Offline – the UK’s first training consultancy dedicated to improving digital wellbeing. Inspired by my own journey through digital overwhelm, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of employees across the globe prevent digital burnout and develop healthier relationships with technology. My clients have included UK government bodies, the NHS, O2, Warner Bros. Disney, the Crown Prosecution Service, and nearly 30 law firms.
Through digital wellbeing workshops and corporate digital wellness programs, I provide practical strategies for workplace attention management and how to improve focus at work, helping teams and leaders take control of their technology use. By exploring mindful tech habits for teams and leadership focus and performance, my work empowers professionals to work more effectively without being overwhelmed by constant digital demands.
As a specialist in digital detox for professionals, I help individuals and workplaces reduce email and notification fatigue, implement strategies for digital focus and foster a culture where technology enhances productivity rather than diminishes it.
With a background in Social Psychology, I bring a down-to-earth, honest approach to my work. I’m an associate of the Mindful Business Charter, Mental Health First Aid trained, and a lived-experience speaker for MHFA England.
As a wife and mum of two, I understand firsthand the challenges families face in managing technology at home and as someone who works primarily remotely, I experience the pressures of our always-on culture daily. My goal is simple: to help individuals and teams create a sustainable, healthy digital environment, at work and at home, so they can thrive in today’s hyper-connected world.
