WHAT I DO

DIGITAL HARMONY:
WORKING LIFE

smiley-colleagues-with-coffee-cups

Technology’s value at work is undeniable – we can get on with our tasks, stay abreast of project updates, work alongside colleagues when we’re not sitting together. However, overwhelm, distraction and exhaustion are just some of the side effects of a 24/7 working culture, and this not only impacts the quality of the work being produced but also employee mental wellbeing.

This practical programme considers:

  • How out of control digital behaviour has impacted working performance and stress levels

  • Impact of workplace culture, neuroscience and the adoption of AI on digital workplace culture

  • Role leaders play in setting the norms of digital behaviour and creating a healthy digital culture

  • Diversity and Inclusion implications for digital preferences and behaviours

  • Simple adjustments to digital habits allowing employees to take back control of their time and attention

  • How to initiate conversations to create more harmony at work when it comes to digital behaviour

  • Real life examples of people and organisations who have discovered the benefits of a more balanced approach

For employers who are members of the Mindful Business Charter, training can be tailored in line with the MBC’s ethos and four pillars.

DIGITAL HARMONY:
PERSONAL LIFE

Entertaining ourselves, staying in touch with people, keeping up to date with information – the benefits digital brings to our personal lives is undeniable. However many people are lacking the space and time to really connect with loved ones, nourish and look after themselves, and get the rest that they need. And as AI enhancements continue to appear on our devices, ensuring we feel in control of our digital behaviour is vital.

This programme considers:

  • Positive and negative impact digital habits have on personal time including relationships and mental health

  • Factors influencing digital behaviours including life’s demands and others’ expectations

  • Simple behavioural adjustments that can help us take back control of our time and attention

  • Role parents and carers play in setting the norms of digital behaviour within the family

  • How to initiate conversations to create more harmony at home when it comes to digital habits

  • Real life examples of people who have discovered the benefits of a more balanced approach
